Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using the services provided by LMY Lafayette Masonry, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use our services. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use our services.
Services Description
LMY Lafayette Masonry provides professional masonry services including but not limited to brick repair, chimney rebuilding, tuckpointing, retaining wall installation, stone patios, paver walkways, stone veneer siding, outdoor kitchens and fireplaces, foundation repair, and commercial masonry work. All services are subject to availability and may be modified without prior notice.
Estimates and Pricing
We provide free on-site consultations and estimates for our services. All estimates are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise specified. Final pricing may vary based on unforeseen circumstances discovered during the project, such as hidden damage or structural issues. Any changes to pricing will be communicated to you before proceeding with additional work.
Payment Terms
Payment terms will be outlined in your service agreement. Typically, we require a deposit before starting work, with the balance due upon completion. We accept various forms of payment including cash, check, and major credit cards. Late payments may be subject to additional fees as outlined in your service agreement.
Project Timelines
We provide estimated timelines for each project based on scope and complexity. While we make every effort to complete projects on schedule, delays may occur due to weather conditions, material availability, permit issues, or unforeseen complications. We will keep you informed of any delays and work to minimize disruptions to your property.
Warranty
We stand behind the quality of our work. Specific warranty terms will be provided in your service agreement and vary depending on the type of work performed. Our warranty covers defects in workmanship but does not cover damage caused by normal wear and tear, accidents, improper maintenance, or modifications made by others.
Liability and Insurance
LMY Lafayette Masonry is fully licensed, bonded, and insured. We carry comprehensive liability insurance and workers compensation coverage for your protection. Our liability is limited to the terms outlined in your service agreement. We are not responsible for pre-existing conditions, hidden defects, or damage caused by factors beyond our control.
Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel or reschedule a project, please notify us as soon as possible. Cancellations made after materials have been ordered or work has begun may be subject to charges for materials, labor, and other costs already incurred. Specific cancellation terms will be outlined in your service agreement.
Property Access and Safety
You agree to provide clear access to the work area and to secure any pets during our work hours. We will take reasonable precautions to protect your property, but you are responsible for moving any valuable or fragile items from the work area. We follow all applicable safety regulations and expect cooperation in maintaining a safe work environment.
Permits and Regulations
When required, we will obtain necessary permits for your project. Permit fees are typically separate from labor and material costs. You are responsible for ensuring that any work performed complies with homeowner association rules and local ordinances. We will make reasonable efforts to help you navigate these requirements.
Dispute Resolution
We are committed to resolving any concerns or disputes promptly and fairly. If you have a complaint about our services, please contact us directly so we can work to resolve the issue. Any disputes that cannot be resolved through direct communication may be subject to mediation or arbitration as outlined in your service agreement.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Your continued use of our services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We encourage you to review these terms periodically.
